This stout little razor-sharp knife was designed to cut the arteries under the pectoral fins of Tuna or pelagics. The key feature of this blade is the size! with a 1" blade it will not penetrate into the meat ruining a loin. It is also much safer to use on a boat! Being offshore 100 miles in rough seas with adrenaline pumping and a fish thrashing on the deck a lot can happen in a blink of an eye! Better to be safe than sorry.

Wont leave shore without it!

I have used this bleeder for the last two years with minimal maintenance, just a simple fresh water splash, wipe clean and never put away wet. It still is as sharp as the day I received it and zero corrosion, just an amazing blade. I wear this on my belt along with my spike, the blade shape and length is perfect for it’s purpose, even if you are new to bleeding fish and make a false cut before finding the artery the meat is not damaged like a longer blade would do. The rubberized grip also provides a sure handgrip. A+++

Safest bleed knife

Great knife with a short but sharp blade great for bleeding fish even in rough waters with very little risk of harm
